Butter Finger Ice Cream Dessert

20 snack size butterfinger candy bars, chopped--reserve a small amount to sprinkle on top
16 oz cool whip
24 ice cream sandwiches
stir chopped butterfingers candy into Cool Whip

Layer:
Ice cream sandwiches-enough to cover bottom of 9x13 pan
top with 1/2 of cool whip mixtures
Another layer of ice cream sandwiches
top with remaining cool whip.

Sprinkle saved candy on top & freeze (at least a few hours) until ready to serve

Get creative, use other favorite candies :)
